Optima Juris is coming to the NCRA Convention & Expo! In a few weeks, July 31 – August 3, 2014, the NCRA will be hosting its annual Convention & Expo in San Francisco. This much talked about event is the largest annual gathering of court reporters, captioners, CART providers, scopists, legal videographers, trial presenters, and other legal services professionals.
A lot will be happening and Optima Juris is going to be right in the middle of the action. On Friday, August 3, President Ian Hardy will be sharing his tips, advice and wisdom on how to organize, conduct and enjoy International Depositions. Do you know how to swear in a witness abroad? What about tips on traveling to another time zone and culture? Do you need a visa to travel to India? Ian has all the answers and you are not going to want to miss a word he has to say.
But what if you can’t make Ian’s amazing seminar or any of the fun that is happening at the NCRA Convention & Expo? Not to worry! Optima Juris has got you covered. We will be bringing you live updates on the happenings in and around the convention. You don’t have to miss out on a second of the activities. Hosted by the City by the Bay’s Hilton San Francisco Union Square, this year’s convention and expo features an extensive array of educational seminars, competitions, social events and networking opportunities. It’s where the biggest happenings in the industry will be taking place including installation of the 2014-15 NCRA president, officers, and Board of Directors.
NCRA President-Elect, Sarah Nageotte says, “NCRA’s Convention & Expo is also a celebration of the profession we love! We learn a lot, of course, but we also take the time to recognize the leaders in our profession, connect with our colleagues who will boldly lead us into the future, and pull out the fancy clothes — and heels, in my case! — to celebrate a successful year in the most rewarding profession we could ever imagine.”
