A not-to-be missed event will be our President Ian Hardy’s seminar on international depositions. Ian will be sharing the ins and outs of international depositions as well as tips, advice and knowledge he has gained over his many years of organizing depositions abroad. Do you know the top regions where international depositions take place? What about depo restrictions in Germany? Do you need a visa to get into India? Ian has all the answers and you are not going to want to miss a word he has to say.

Premier Session: Keynote Presentation & Installation of Officers – Friday, August 1, 9 – 11 a.m.
The “can’t-miss” session of every NCRA Convention, this year’s keynote, Tommy Spaulding, will be sure to impress and inspire. A New York Times best-selling author, Spaulding will provide an invigorating session on what it takes to be a leader in today’s marketplace. Prior to his presentation, NCRA will install the 2014-15 president, officers, and Board of Directors. Sarah Nageotte will take the lead and publicly address the NCRA membership for the first time as president. NCRA will also celebrate this year’s Distinguished Service Award recipient, which is the lifetime achievement award for the court reporting profession.
Awards Luncheon – Saturday, August 2, 11:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
A delicious lunch with friends and colleagues as the NCRA honors those in our profession who have reached new heights in the past year. Find out the results of the speed and realtime contests, as well as the recipients of NCRA and NCRF awards and scholarships.
President’s Red Carpet Party – Saturday, August 2, 7 – 11 p.m.
This event will be the ultimate court reporter party of the year. A fully catered dinner will be served, and be prepared for some epic dance moves.
